Description
It is in a railway warehouse from 1910, on the shores of an inlet called Jaudy, that Philomenn remains faithfully attached to its values. The Trégoroise headdress that adorns Philomenn's bottles reflects the image of the brewery founded in 2007.

Production is mainly distributed in Trégor - Goêlo and the objective is also to assert a circular and local economy. Year round, the Philomenns come in six recipes. The range is completed by ephemeral beers, one-off or recurring, barricated beers, over-hopped beers, sisters. Ideas fuse as the creative possibilities are endless in brewing.

From one grocery shop, in Paris. Best before 2025, drinking fastly, due to a small hole on the can. Good and full body ipa, malty, rye, giving some freshness and a fruity side, fair note of pine tree, a bit tropical, bitter and citrus, 14.10.24, at home, Epalinges.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle brought back from western Brittany. Pours a dark amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of lightly of fruit and very light smoked malt. A nice beer, but really struggled to tell it was smoked. The 8% was well hidden.

7/3/2025. Bottle shared by minutemat, cheers! Pours almost clear amber tan brown with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is toffee, golden syrup, bready, biscuit, malt, dried fruits, hint of spice. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and a very slight tart edge. Medium body, soft carbonation. Sweet warming finish, with a slight plastic edge. Not bad.
