Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Golden coloured pour with a lasting white head.. Aroma is nutty, grainy malts with light metal notes. Flavour is metalic, wet grassy hops. Leafy vegetal hops.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Opaque dark caramel / black coloured pour with a greyish cream head. Aroma is sweet rye bread, bicuit. Flavour is light caramel, rye grains, brown bread and some liquorice. Decent drop.

Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Bottle in Ronny’s room i think? Golden colour, slightly hazed. Aroma is cereal, pils, nutty malts. Flavour is wet grass, dull, woody, cereals, corn flakes. Standard.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Golden orange with a good sized off white head. Nose is floral, zingy citrics, cereals, bread dough. Taste comprises light vanilla, bread dough, caramel, light citric fruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, good feel. Ok stuff.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Mahogony brown with a good sized beige head - a handsome looker. Nose is toffee, nutty, burnt sugar, dark fruit, brown bread, light spice. Taste comprises caramel, vanilla, light cocoa, earthy pangs. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. One of the best Dunkels we had over the weekend.
