Description
O'clock Brewing est une jeune brasserie artisanale située à Bois d'Arcy (Yvelines).
The story begins in college and continues until today with the opening of the O'Clock Brewing brewery... Between there were those years when the trio brewed for fun in the parents' garage equipped with the bare minimum and then there were also these trips to several producing countries, particularly in Northern Europe, motivated by their love of the fermented drink.
These three bearded friends and keen on good beers opened their brewery in the industrial zone of La Croix-Bonnet in Bois d'Arcy. The flavors are imagined by Kévin, with five years of experience as a brewer. The three friends want to move away from the French model and offer different beers.

Drinking this beer like the name of the beer, yesterday, at the express Lyon, Paris with Arnaud. Good amber, brewed on the American way, malty, rather dry, a bit roasty, hint of toffee, bitter, citrus. The bitterness is stronger than usual for the style, 10.11.24

Bottle from Hopburn. Big blast of peat, roasted malt, dark chocolate, peated whiskey, charcoal, leather, hint of coffee. Moderate bittersweet with a little alcohol in the finish. Medium plus body. Pitch black, for peat lovers exclusively.

Draught @ Le Baradoz, Versailles after walking around the Chateau and gardens. Pours black, good beige head. Welcoming nose suggesting a layered malt depth which presents itself to taste, great malt character with a great hoppy side providing a nice counterpoint to the soft roast and coffee. Really good, satisfying india-style stout.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, tan head. BA supported, dark malty, caramel malty and minimally woody aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark caramel, rhum, some leather, oak, a touch of molasses. Taste is BA supported, sweet-ish, caramel and slightly roasty, dark malty, slightly alcoholic, notes of caramel, dark caramel, rhum, molasses; minimally warming, alcoholic finish.
Dissolved sugar enriched, slightly creamy, simultaneously alcohol thinned, as a result watery texture, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation.
Rather sweet, not overly complex, almost a bit monotonous - decent.

Orange with no head. Malty, a bit of candied fruit, oak, hefty caramel malt booze, lightly sweet. Finish is long with oak, fruit and malt. It’s a decent beer but feels a bit shallow in depth. The booze is real activity well hidden but it’s just kind of boring.

Black with a thin beige head. Molasses, chocolate silk, rhum, oak, dark malts, and some lingering booze. Full bodied. Finish has some sweetness along with rum and oak. Really lovely pour and the barrel aging is done very well leaving enough influence without overpowering.
