On the menu as Sander Original Lager Hell at 5%. Deep gold with a thin, creamy white head. Mild fruitiness on a herbal base. Not much going on though. Taste is mildly bitter with hints of rice waffle on a lightish, overly watery palate. Moderate to mild carbonation. 2.8

330 ml bottle from EU Local Swap 2/2019, thank you Beerhunter111! Pours somewhat darker shade of orange, a few bubbles at first but they are gone quite soon, looking flat. Nose has some spices, light cloves - but unfortunately also some washing detergent. Tastes decently wheaty, yeast esters there - but just almost no carbonation to bring that out. Pairing this with some Japanese craft cheese from Nasu's Ima Farm - and these ester spices are bringing out some grassy notes also from the cheese, not a bad combination. Overall, not terrible - but also far from great, successful cheese pairing brought some plus points.

From the bottle. Deep gold with frothy white head. Aroma is fruity to floral with a mix of red grapes and rose bouquet. Taste has a sharp, somewhat tart bitterness with a bit of earthiness on the backside. Medium to thinnish body and slightly watery texture. Ultimately unsatisfying.
