(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Mildly sour-sweet wheaty aroma with notes of biscuits, caramel, as well as fruity and resiny hops, including hints of citrus, grapefruit and melon. Mildly sweet and slightly tart flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly sour wheaty start with traces of caramel, accompanied by mainly fruity and slightly resiny hops; dry and slightly sweet and sour-tart finish with a fruity hoppy tail. Refreshing summer drink. 01.X.18

22-09-18 // bottle bought at the brewery and shared. Quite clear dark brown Doppelbock. Malty body but quite light for 9.5%. Mild rum barrel notes indeed. Some wooden notes. Slightly to light bodied/watery could be more full bodied. A solid and balanced beer.

22-09-18 // on tap at the Brauereifest at the brewery. Unclear orange. Small white head. Red malty nose. Mild simcoe. Quite sweetish malty body, hints of toffee, he na a mild maracuja tropic flavour from the simcoe but in my opinion the simcoe doesnt dit as good as the chinook in this beer.
