Bottle at a tasting, beers courtesy of Cuso. Too acetic and tanninish astringent for my liking. Loads of fruitiness. Anyway good, but not great.

Bottle bought at Mainz 2018. Fresh grainy and sightly sourish beginning. Fruity hints, the wood and hints of the rum are there, but in the back. Sessionable, slightly sourish, deep and intense in the back. Nice.

19th Nov 2018. Monthly Share Group meeting in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury, only three of us this time. Cheers Mat for this nightcap. 33cl bottle (# 0165 from 1299). Really liked the red hints in this dark brown brew, semi-sweet, semi-dry wine in the mouth. Lovely drink to finish the night off.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 18. Pours deep dark brown, small off-white topping. Lightly bretty sherbetty nose, layered malt to taste with a curious deep sweetness that i assume is partly attributed to the red wine barrel aging, some chocolate notes, gentle dry roast. Nice end to the evening.

[ As Sander Limited Dinkel Porter ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, dark malt, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, dark malt, chocolate, a sour note.
