Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head. The nose holds grassy hops, crispy grains, some citrus rind. Light sweet flavor with lemony hops, biscuits, subtle bitter hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Dry and biscuity on the finish with nips of bitter grass. Nice golden ale.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a medium amber with a creamy white head and bags of clingy lace. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, biscuit malt, light medicinal palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. I fear that this was approaching the end of the cask. A brown ale though ??

Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival, Sep 15. Good to try this after my bottle rolled out the car & smashed in Tesco car park. Pours hazy blond with a sweet fruity aroma. Smooth, light taste with coconut and vanilla coming through. Decent take on the style.

500ml bottle from Fire & Ice, Narberth. Pours black with strong beige head. Leathery aroma. Taste is smooth with light cream fudge, vague rum and a thin tobacco finish. Not a bad effort.
