On tap at Craft Beer Co. Pours dark brown with a creamy beige head. Dark chocolate, roasted malt, ash, hint of walnut. Bitter finish.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - Bethnal Green. Pours mostly clear, deep gold with a creamy, white topping. Medium sweet flavour with ripening citrus, a little golden raisin, bitter pine, nips of caramel, lightly toasted bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bittersweet finish, more gooey citrus. Fine.

From tap in Beckenham Place Park with JFE 01.10.22. Cloudy pale straw colour. Fine aroma and taste of grape soda, peach, various citrus and grass. Refreshing.

Hazy strawcoloured, small white head. Aroma of banana and citrus, taste of grape soda, orange and lemon.

Shared 330 ml can. ABV is 4.7%. Amber colour, slightly hazy. Moderate off-white head. Aroma of rye malts and citrussy hops. Distinct citrussy hops in the flavour too, on a background of malts and rye bread. Decent beer.

Cask pint at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, with Holmen2. Served at cellar temperature. Copper colour, small head, nice lacing. Malty aroma and flavour, some caramel malts and brown malts, Calypso hops? A hint of blackcurrants. Moderate to low bitterness.

From cask at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, with Sigmund 20.09.22. Translucent golden. White head and lacing. Fine taste of pale malt, pale crystal malt, marmalade, black currants and various sweet citrus. Well balanced with moderate bitterness. Appropriately uncarbonated. Full mouthfeel.
Elegant and refreshing. Great combo!
