330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, minimally grey-ish, off-white head. Minimally sugary and bready, malty as well as almost a tad sour-ish, malty aroma, a touch of brown bread crust, whiffs of sorrel, sour dough. Taste is slightly bready and minimally sour-ish malty, a touch of brown bread crust, sorrel, sour malt.
Watery texture, minimally dry and almost a tad astringent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Simple, monotonous, lacks any rudimentary tasty flavour - useless.

Bottle, 6.8%. Good caramelly aroma with a touch og metal from the CO2. Almost clear dark amber colour. Fizzy off-white head, but fairly stable. The flavour is very malty with notes of dark caramel. I feel I get a little smoke as well, but perhaps I am imagining things.

Bottle, 6.2%. Caramelly aroma, but the sort of biscuity, nutty type. Cloudy brownish colour. OK stable tan head. The flavour is ok caramelly with the same notes of nuts and biscuit as the aroma, but tastes a little maltier than expected from the aroma. The yeast is fairly clean and does not resemble a typical Belgian dubbel as far as I am concerned.
