Can thanks to mom! Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet citrus with some pineapple with a bit of sweet grain supporting. Flavor has pineapple with growing citrus and a sweet grain backbone.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige head that lingers. Aromas of dark chocolate, bourbon, oak and umami on the nose. Palate is very similar with some prune and date notes next to the dark chocolate and oak. Bourbon is noticeable on the palate with a warming, boozy finish. Oak and bourbon round out the finish. Still a bit hot, but an enjoyable BBA stout.

Ever so slightly hazy golden, peach and light copper coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head that fades relatively quickly, but leaves a nice lace on the sides. Aroma of grass, caramelised sugars, some soft nuts and earthiness, with a rustic kick, some oranges and a bit of even lightly smoked malt here - I'm not entirely sure what it is - but it IS noticeable in the nose. Medium-bodied; Fairly crisp and malty notes show at first with a nice grainy and deep earthy profile with good hops here as well, but the caramelised sugars are the strongest here and provide a good layer of depth here, that are nice to couple with the hops and malt. Aftertaste is crisp, very floral, slightly dry, but also very bitter from the hops - nice and balanced, with the crisp caramelised sugars playing out well at the end and bringing out some complexity. Overall, a nice and deep malty, sweet and rustic/nutty IPA that is dry and robust throughout that is decidedly East Coastie and not kitschy or new school at all - great to have from my recent trip to Michigan, but sad to have on a Red Wings loss day (against the LA Kings). I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Beer Baron in Livonia, Michigan on 23-October-2022 for US$3,19, canned on 03-November-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-November-2022.

Pounder can off the $1 clearance shelf. Date code feb 2023, so it is a little aged, hehehh. In my steeler mug its hazy off pale. heavy lime nose. First taste is quite lime, but it carries a little bitterness of the lime peel as well. I don't think there was any squeezing of lime in this, just grind up whole limes and throw it in. Hard to pick out the cherries. A little tart and a little sweet, but yet you can still tell its beer. Decent level of carbonation in there. Middle turns out to be quite refreshing, this stuff is starting to grow on me. A quick burp yields total lime, hah! In the end this is a pretty decent brew and I was quite happy with it. It finished with a nice lime finish and a medium length lime peel effect.

Honey color with a large foamy white head that left excellent lacing. Tangy and somewhat buttery with a cherry note. Medium finish and body.
