Bottle from LIvonia Liquor. Pours a clear pale straw gold with a fingrer of white foam that dissipates. Warming alcohol on the nose followed by citrus zest and resin aromas. Clean and dry on the palate with nice orange and grapefruit zest notes. A bit of pith and pine on the finish. Warming alcohol.

16 ounce draft. For as light alcohol as this is…. It is extremely earthy. Dried leaves, burnt grain, yeast. Whoa, not my thing at all.

Putting this here. It seems close. There's an E&B that has very similar logo to this, E-B. This states A Detroit Icon Since 1884. Unmatched and unchanged. Taste the tradition of E-B Premium Lager. Eastside Brewing LLC, Grand Rapids, 49546. So random. 12 ounce bottle from Jim's Foodmart Houghton, 7/11/20. Kinda felt thick while pouring. Hazy amber, thin fizzy white head, fair retention. Aroma of grain and apricot. Taste is caramel, grain, apple. Thin. Drinkable I guess but completely unimpressive and not really worthy of note.

On nitro tap at Motor City, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a hint of espresso. Flavour is pretty flat, with toasted malt and earthy malt. Pretty haphazard and poor quality. Lame as fuck.

On tap at Motor City, pours a cloudy yellow, no head. Aroma brings out gentle apple core and a touch of acidity. Flavour is quite acidic, with intense apple core, lots of apple skins, and a little wild yeast. Somewhat rotting but pleasantly so. Okay cider — classically American.

On tap at Motor City, pours a clear blonde with a tiny head. Nose brings out intense tartness that burns the nose hairs, perfume, and lacto. Flavour is intensely tart and acidic, with stomach-churningly acidic citrus. Barely drinkable. Harsh and incompetently brewed.

On tap at Motor City, pours a murky dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and murky earthiness. Flavour is rather murky and dry, with classic German lager yeast, toasted nuts and murky earthiness. Rather muffled but pleasant enough.

On tap at Motor City, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and dry bready notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with bready malt and a hint of caramel. Dry and lacking complexity. Meh.
