Light amber ale with a good off-white head. Malty aroma with herbal notes, slightly off. Crisp malts with a sweet finish and faint hops in final. Medium bodied. Not as good as i remembered it though.

Trailhead Wellington. Dark yellow colored ale with small head and not a whole lot of retention. Aroma is mostly subtle floral malt and very little else. Taste is a balance mix of floral malt with some dryness at the ends. This one lacks character overall and is probably not the best beer from this brewery.

Bottle: Poured a very dark brown beer with a nice head with medium retention. Aroma is really pleasant with malt and roastiness. Taste is very refreshing with again lots of malts and a very nice finish of roastiness. Body is above average with OK carbonation. Overall, I was quite surprise by what I thought would be another classic English ale; it proved to had more character then expected and I’m starting to really like this brewery.

Bottle: Poured a jet black beer with a nice bubbly head with standard retention. Coffee smell is overpowering with some malts lingering in the background. Taste is a nice mix between coffee, chocolate and malts. A bit too much bitterness kicks in at the end. Medium full body with great carbonation for an Imperial Stout. Overall, a very decent drink but not the best Imperial I tasted.

Slightly hazy brown coloured body with a thin off-white head-fairly standard looking. Aroma of raisins, caramel, soap and a bit of malt-not too impressive. Medium-bodied; Strong burnt sugar flavour ranging from toffee to caramel with some hints of hops and a subtle bitterness. Overall, a decent beer-not as good as the Imperial Stout, but worth trying. I sampled this from a 65 cL bottle purchased at the LCBO in Toronto, Ontario (Queen’s Quay) brought back by JonR888710-thanks Jon!

Dark black and opaque. Nice nose of bitter chocolate and roasted malts. In the nouth, roastiness comes out well, with cold coffee, and powdery bitter chocolate. Good body but slightly astringent in the end.

Nice dark brown ale with a nice moka head. Intense malt nose, and even moreintense nutty malt taste with woody, almost porto or vinous tendancies. Alcool warmth enrobes your mouth and creamy mouthfeel. Yummy.

(Cask) Dark clear brown with a nice moka head, slight malt aroma, which is more intennse and woody in the mouth. Restrained floral hops are dancing with the malts. Slight alcool warmth was detected. Good body.

(Cask version) Golden colour with slightly hoppy nose. Very nice clear sharp hops in mouth but not enough malt to compensate. Thin body.

Golden beer with no head. Nice biscuity malt aroma with a sweet malt and light hops and applepie. Some woody notes to the malt in this lager. Medium body. (on tap)
