Description
The idea of having our own brewery has been in our heads since we launched our first beer, The Black Pot, but we really started thinking about it in the beginning of 2018.

Living in a small town near the Ceahlau mountain means fresh air, great views, many things to do (especially in summer) but there is not much social life. So, this was our first question: build a brewery in the area through which we make the decision to stay here or move to a big city where you have many more opportunities, give up on this idea / dream and continue life? You already know the answer… 😊

Clear red brown beer, small creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: oh my, that must be tonka! Sweet, caramel, soft roast, chocolate and vanilla, some cinnamon touch. Very nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, caramel, nice roast, all tonka, lovely, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: roasted, alcohol, more tonka, cinnamon, nice bitterness, good. Would've liked it a bit more sweeter.

Pretty cloudy pale blond beer, creamy irregular white head, bit adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lovely, lots of tropical fruits, lovely stuff, very nice! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very herbal start, bit grassy, nice floral touch, soft bitterness, tropical fruits. Aftertaste: dry, spicy touch, hoppy, some citrus notes, finishes rather disappointing.

Slightly cloudy orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, orange peel, bit floral, malty, some citrus ntoes, soapy. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very soapy, sourish, acidic, weird, floral, some citrus. Aftertaste: lemony, soapy, bit floral.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige had, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very intense roast, alcohol, caramel malts, bit sourish, some chocolate notes. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malts, soft roast, alcohol, honey, sweet and sugary, little hoppy, earthy. Aftertaste: sourish, bit dirty, weird, soft acidity, probably infected...

Borefts XI Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth cocoa dark chocolate. Spice. Dark fruits, more cocoa and dark chocolate. Little dark chocolate cream. Semi dry finish. Tasty.
