330ml bottle from Au Loop Garou Gourmand, Locronan. Pours a bright hazed gold, good white head, sweet fruity hop nose. All good signs, but flavour profile falls just short of the mark, it almost comes across flavoured in it's sweetness, with hints of sugary syrup. An oatier mouth feel and a fuller body needed.. not feeling it I'm afraid.

Bottle from L'ecume des bieres in St Malo. Pours black with a fast disappearing beige head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, brown sugar & burnt malt. Moderate body. Burnt finish. Enjoyable

14/12/2024. Bottle shared by Jerseyislandbeer, cheers! Pours very dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma is ashy, coffee, roasted, chocolate, brownie, lactose. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Moderate body, quite smooth, average carbonation. Likeable.

(Keg at Le P'tit Velo, Rennes, 20240613) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had citrus fruits, herbalness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A clean and nice brew with rather strong hop notes.

330ml bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt and light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, malt, yeasty, lemon citrus, light pepper spice, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
