Can watching the final episode of Peaky Blinders. Light haze, orange amber beer with a big lacy, creamy head. The nose is ripe with pomelo, mandarine, and dank piney hints. Flavor: tasty dry citrus bomb that's well balanced with the smooth bitterness. Marvelous body for only five and a half percent. Really excellent!

Caramely malty, piney and resinous with some grassy hops, pine, grapefruit and floral notes, hints of sweetness. Quite old skoolish west coast DIPA, but could've used a bit more bite and bitterness

Tap at Higgins. Super roasty nose on black beer with medium head. Light sweetness, full body, great well rounded flavor. I don't get a lot of cacao flavor but there's a background hint which is excellent blending. Mild bitterness.

Can brought by Chris, thanks! Red amber, spicy-hopped caramel nose. Big caramel flavor, woody notes, smooth moderate bitterness. Nice winter style beer.

Can at Olaf's birthday, thanks Chris! Mostly clear gold with long lasting head. Mild grain nose, flavor is lightly acidic, pretty big earthy hop bitterness. Moderate body. Pretty decent golden!

Clear amber. Aroma is chestnut light peach. Taste is bitter grassy and herbal hops with light fruity notes but almost no sweetness. Pretty rough. Alright.

Can from the brewpub, thx Jonas! Shared with him, SinH4 and Ursula. Bronze body, clear, some small off-white head. Floral-caramelly aroma. Lean taste, mostly caramelly, creamy, ending dry, slightly herbal-bitter, slightly socky in the finish. Nice overall. --- Beer merged from original tick of Higgins Wanderland Winter Ale on 07 Jan 2024 at 14:22 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. Can. Clear reddish amber color with no head. Aroma is caramel, earthy, toffee. Taste is the same, earthy, sweetish toffee and medium bitter finish. Thick oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Not bad.
