On tap at Higgins Ale Works, München, Saturday 29th November 2025 after going to Bayern Munich v At Pauli with Heidi and Shaun, they probably won't read this but a big thanks guys for the tickets. Pours black with a slim beige head, nicely bitter but with a solid roastiness, a groovy citrussyness comes through. Nice, v.nice.

Pours black with a slim beige head. Lots of coffee on the nose, also showing in the mouth. Smooth, light creamy edge, soft mouthfeel, light roastiness. Good porter.

Bottle drunk rewatching Stranger Things S4. Dark brown, fine bubbled tan head. Woody rye nose, hints of sweetness. Red wine on the tongue, full and juicy, nice and velvety mouthfeel with some port wine sweetness noticeable on the finish. Nicely integrated tartness, with coffee-like toasty notes complemented by the juiciness of red grapes.

Etwas wässriger, säuerlich fruchtiger Beginn. Trauben, eher helles Malz, Äpfel, leider jetzt noch wässriger werdend. Nette Aromatik, leider schwach. 9/8/9/7/8/7

Tap at Higgins. Hazy golden. Mango tropical ice-cream. Creamy and fluffy, tropical, soft. I am confused why is this not pink? Missed opportunity. Pink is good.

Tap at Higgins. Bright maracuja aroma, medium body, dr creamy mouthfeel. Straw malt, mellow fruit notes, cookiie finish.

On tap at Higgins Ale Works, München, Wednesday 1st October 2025. Oktoberfestbier delayed today owing to bomb threat and death of one person and injury of two others in the north of the city. Pours deep gold, in fact it's light amber with a slim white head. The nose is very subtle, not giving any clues aside from a little maltiness. Flavour is malty, there's a little bit of toffee, malt and a nice body. I like this, soft mouthfeel, very easy drinking.

A clear reddish golden beer with a white head. Aroma of tart red grapes, yeast, berries. Taste of sour red berries, red grapes, brett, red apples, yeast.

Can purchased from the brewpub street a visit with colleagues. Reddish amber, moderate head. Nice citrusy nose, light malt/caramel. Slim body, very drinkable!

Drunk at Higgins. Nectarine and peach nose, smooth bitterness, light malt background. Very tasty one!
