Bottle from the brewery. Mostly clear, light gold, moderate head. Smells super dank and mildly tropical/pineapple. Great flavor with the right mix of caramel, bitterness, and piney/dank/citrus tropical. Super solid and delicious West Coast IPA!

Bottle. Black, creamy tan head. Dark roasted nose. Medium to full creamy dry body. Dark roasted coffee/cocoa, nutty, light salt, a hint fudge, licorice retronasal. Nice with an easy to drink dry flavored stout.

Bottle. Light hazy amber, fine carbonation offwhite head. Lightly yeasty grape and pear/appleskin notes. Medium body, dry chewy, sparkly. Nice gooseberry and pear hop notes, white wine dryness, lightpeach, fresh on the palate, very pleasant after the all too common tropical and citric bombs these days.

Bottle. Deep brown color with ruby highlight. Aroma is vanilla, wood, mild roast and grassiness. Taste is the same, very nicely integrated barrel, great balance. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, Higgins really knows how to nail this style.

Bottle from the brewery. Very dark brown, small head. Nose of mild cacao and coffee roastery notes. Very smooth flavor, mild bitterness with mid-complex nutty roasted goodness. There's a bit of chocolate flavor but not overwhelming. Relatively dry especially for mid-six-percent. Tasty stout!

Bottle courtesy of Dave Ratebeer München group cheers mate! Consumed at home Sunday 16th January 2022 Loz is about to cook steak 🥩 on the Kamado Dragon, whilst I make a Porcini Sauce, Loz also making Truffle chips. We're listening to Black Country New Road - For the First Time. Pours chestnut brown edging towards black with a rapidly departing off white head. Soft in the mouth, unbelievably easy drinking for the abv, smooth, warming, the rum barrel ageing has certainly left it's fingerprint all over this but it's still a very drinkable beer, however I think that I prefer the 50% aged version.
