Can. Decent kolsch, a style I usually find boring. Grain; smooth palate and malt; maybe a little sweet but pretty close to the real thing.

Crisp, clear golden coloured body with a large, soapy white head that leaves a horribly ugly lace. Aroma of bright grassy and floral hops with almost a fake smell to them - potent and strong, but the malt doesn’t seem as large and there doesn’t seem to be much complexity, at least in the nose. Light-bodied; Grassy and herbal flavours with some passionfruit noticeable, a hint of pineapple and a light floral note near the end. Aftertaste is one-dimensional with the hops coming out a little bit, and that’s about it - no malt, no sugars, no complexity and no depth. Overall, a pretty poor IPA, but is very easy drinking given that there isn’t much malt at all here. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased a few minutes ago at Whole Foods in Washington (I Street, Foggy Bottom), DC on 23-September-2014 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington a few minutes later due to a hole coming in the can as I was bringing it back home.
