Draft at Beer Run, 8/26/14. Pours a clear dark ruby-brown with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of nuts, toasted malt, peanut shells, dark fruit. The taste is caramel, toffee, earth, bread, herbal hops. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness. Well done Jamey!

Draft at the brewery, 8/14/14. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with a thin head, Poor head retention. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon and hints of pale malt. The taste is pale malt and bright citrus. Thin bodied, too soda like.

Draft at the brewery, 7/29/14. Pours a clear dark brown color with a thin creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, raisin, chocolate, wheat, wood, bourbon and a bit of hay. The taste is roasted malts, wheat, bourbon, wood, chocolate, dark fruits. Thin-medium bodied, nicely balanced. Very nice beer.

Draft at the brewery, 7/29/14. Well this was an odd one that actually worked out well. Pours a clear pale golden color with a thin creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical, earthy hops, pale malt and a tart cheesy note. The taste is earthy, citrus, tropical hops. pale malt, blue cheese. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, well balanced. Yeah, I know it sounds weird but it’s pretty good.

12oz can pours a clear, orange with a ring of white head. Nose has a lot of orange, grapefruit pith too, pine, soap, some mild candy. Flavor follows, big orange peel, grapefruit pith, heavy soap, mild candy, mild malt, pine, vinous. Sticky, bitter finish. Solid beer.

Can: Hay, mildly shitty aroma. Hazy golden, thick head. Sweet hay with a bitter grassy finish. Medium body, well hopped. Drinks more like a north German pilsner.

Draft at the brewery, 6/3/14. Pours a hazy pinkish color with a thin white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of strawberry, wheat, mild tartness. The taste is fresh strawberries, doughy malt, strong lactic tartness, citrus. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering tartness, refreshing. Very nice.
