50cl can partagée avec Tdroeck à Ixelles.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours cloudy amber with a cream-coloured off-white head. Aromas of brown bread, caramel, some orange. Taste is toffee, raisin, orange again. Creamy texture, malty finish. Not to style, but not bad.

Can from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - cloudy amber with a creamy off-white top.
Nose - caramel, dried orange and bready.
Taste - orange peel, raisin, toffee and brown bread.
Palate - creamy texture with a light roastiness on the finish. Medium bodied.
Overall - not 100% sure I expected this, rather I expected something less resembling a West Coast IPA. That said, enjoyable.

500ml can from Le Chais, Hazebrouck. Unclear golden pour with a medium off-white head. Good, vivid fruity expressions, dank suggestions, grapefruit, pithy exotic fruit. Not a west coast, as per description, but a decent fruity number nonetheless.

Tap. Hoppiness, Lille. Hazed orange gold. Decent white froth. Good sweet plum on the nose. Good bit of sour tempered by a vanilla sweetness. Juicy and refreshing overall. Good starter bev.

Very dark brown with a thin head. Lots of tropical fruit notes. Nicely bitter. Dark malt is definitely there.
