Another of the many I didn't rate but have had. New bottle, Wine Warehouse, $6.49. Pours murky brown with a small beige head. Aroma is floral, dark fruit, alcohol. Flavor is very fruity: like a fruitcake without the spice, yeast, alcohol. Sweet. Carbonation is prickly and perhaps too high.

Bottle 0.33l. Quite clear, amber colored. AROMA- dark fruit, jam, plum, raspberry. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, but very strong and harsh alcohol presence, fruit jam. Full bodied.
Just another commercial Belgian ale. Too strong alcohol, not very tasty.

Barwa ciemnobursztynowa, niemal klarowne, piana zabrudzonej bieli, umiarkowanie stabilna i podobnież obfita. W aromacie karmel, opiekany chleb, estry brzoskwinia, rodzynki, winogrona. W smaku półsłodkie, sporo estrów jabłkowo-winogronowych, karmel, ciemne pieczywo, cukier trzcinowy, rodzynki. Goryczka niska do średniej, wysycenie w normie, alkohol nisko wyczuwalny, lekka przyprawowość, nieco jej brakuje. Poprawne, ale bez szaleństwa.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of caramel, dried fruit, yeast and grass. Cloudy brown color with thin creamy tan-like head, floating yeast particles and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet toasted malt, following is quite plain, mainly malty, earthy, faint fruity and slightly grassy, mouthfeel is smooth but spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Well hidden ABV, but lacks some taste...

0,33 l bottle. Thanks to Jacci & Nils. Nearly clear dark copper in the glass, small white head. Fruity smell with malty background. Taste starts malty, some sweetness, mid bitterness. Some woody elements. Little bit dry in the background. Higher carbonated than expected. Really nice stuff.

Bottle from Whole Foods Market Fair Lakes in Virginia Aroma: dark fruit, bread, molasses, caramel Appearance: dark amber with a tan head Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, Palate: medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long finish, Delicious. Pricey but worth every penny

Bottle from Pivný raj Yet another Belgian which won't disappoint you. Offers pretty much everything you want from this style. Still, there are better, but this may be a Volkswagen among others.

Bottle at home from Beers of Belgium and drunk as a flight over two nights. This was the second of the three. Another lively pour, but the carbonation quickly disappeared and didn’t affect the beer. The flavour was malt, lots of yeast, some hops and to me a bit boring. The mouthfeel was very nice, but the taste didn't have a whole lot going on. All in all it was drinkable but a bit meh.

Bottle at home from Beers of Belgium and drunk as a flight over two nights. This was the first of the three. A very lively pour that left me concerned about the carbonation levels. The head dissipated quickly and the beer was a very pretty brown coppery colour in the glass. No nose to speak of, but I did detect some malt and hops. The taste was gentle malt and yeast in perfect balance and some bitter hops. The mouthfeel was as smooth as silk and there was no sign of the carbonation. This had echoes of an English best bitter and it was very pleasant to sip while I chatted to my wife about the day. It didn't set my world on fire, but it was an extremely pleasant beer that I really enjoyed.
