# 3160; 8/2022. Orange, zesty, herbal, fruity aroma. Clear (!) gold body, white head. Orange, herbal, grapefruit. Very curious clear NEIPA; quite good beer but totally out of style. 0,5 l from 2 l, plastic bottle, brewpub, Dobřany (Bohemia, CZ).

0.5l tap. Cloudy orange, small quickly disappearing head. Citrus notes, unripe banana, grapefruit zest, mild yeasty notes, grassy hops. Mild dry bitterness. Light to medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry mild bitter citrussy finish. A rather crisp Weizen, with Bohemian vibes, nice and very different from its German counterparts.
Aroma malt, karamell, plomme/sviske. Utseende mørk brun nesten sort med beige skum. Smak sviske, malt, karamell. Syrlighet av frukt, middels fylde og karamell i ettersmaken. Flaske smakt Okt -17

50cl can. A clear dark golden beer with a off-white head. Aroma of reddish malt, caramel and mild red fruits. Taste of intense bitter hops, resins, pine, strong caramelized malt, sharp grainy malt. Long bitter finish.

Bitterer Beginn, der zwar einen süßlichen Hopfen beinhaltet, für mich aber nicht wirklich nach IPA schmeckt. Mild würzig, trocken getreidig, mittellanger Abgang mit einer Steigerung der Bitterkeit. Okay. 9/8/9/8/5/9

Tap at the Modra Hvězda taproom in Plzeň. Hazy golden body, white head. Flowery aroma, light but spot on. The taste, however, is a bit messy, soft banana, light oats, quite lean... Flawed sadly in the end - though I'm sure it's usually much better! And I wouldn't be surprised if I had the same batch as the previous rater did a couple of months later.
