Bottled at RBESG 2007. A hazy golden beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of straw, leading to a dry bitter finish with notes of hay.

PETka z pivovaru (@ 6.5%). Hazy amber-pale yellow, large and fluffy head. Full-bodied, very malty and spicy. Very hoppy (Saaz!) in the finish and aftertaste. A very pleasant beer which is highly and dangerously quaffable despite its strength.

Točene v Modre Hvězdě v Dobřanech: Distinctive hoppy (Saaz ?) nose with a light fruity-yeasty touch, backed by some sweet malt, golden coloured, lacy creamy head; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, very small malty base detectable; lingering hoppy-yeasty finish. O.K., good stuff, but not an archetypal Bohemian Pilsener, the 10° of Modra Hvezda is better...........

On tap at the brewpub: Deep golden coloured, small foamy layer, fruity-honeyish-grainy nose with distinctive traces of alcohol and yeast, but with a good amount of hops as well; medium to full sweet-bitter flavour, quite full bodied; alcoholic-bitter-sweet finish with a lingering sweet-fruity-alcoholic brandy-like aftertaste, a bit like a "Mon Cherie". Not great, but drinkable.........

On tap at the brewpub: Hazy, deep chestnut-amber coloured, off-white stable foamy layer; caramelly-roastmalty nose with a hoppy and a yeasty touch; rather full bodied, solid sweet-bitter flavour; distinctive sweet-caramelly, but also aromatic-bitter finish with a wave of yeast in the aftertaste. Well balanced, quite good Bock.........

Bottle REESG 07 ... Clowdy Yellow ... nice fruity wheaty hop nose with a little bubble gum ... Slight wheaty mellow soft fruit and a clean palate. I found it more a wheat beer than a pilsner, but thats probably the fact that it was well stired up. none the less this was a nice solid beer and well worth a second go.
