Description
Grimm Artisanal Ales is a Brooklyn-based brewery founded in 2013 by Joe and Lauren Grimm after nearly a decade of tinkering with fermentation. Grimm specializes in concise, elegant ales epitomizing the creative, experimental spirit of the American artisanal beer revolution. With each limited edition release, we seek to push the boundaries of style and flavor in order to create beers with the utmost depth and complexity.
For five years, Grimm operated as a nomadic brewery. Joe and Lauren would develop each recipe in the kitchen of their Gowanus apartment and travel to existing breweries near and far to craft their commercial beers.

Просто добротный сбалансированный стаут. Есть кофе и какао на финише, небольшая сухость от этого.

Tottenham back in Bodø with a lousy performance. Lucky to get a point. Decent IPA beer. Thanks NFB!

440ml can from Dunell's in Jersey. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, lemon, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine & hops. Medium body. Smooth light bitter finish.

Pale and bright gold. Medium head. The hop nose here gets grassy, oniony. Full malt base, again this goes more oniony than anything else. It’s okay but the hop expression is not ideal…wanted more from I7 hyperboost.

Slight haze, bubbly head. Tart, but with some nice juiciness in there. Has a bit of acetic harshness to it, though. It’s not bad but not the best balanced.

Straw, slight haze. Bubbly head. Malty, slightly grainy aroma. Clean, lowish bitterness, mellow pale malt. Hey, it’s a solid cream ale I’d judge favourably in a competition.

Opaque and pale. Bubbly head. Bright el dorado and apricot nose, lactic sourness. Tart, lots of bright hops and again solid apricot. Solid…I wish people made more of these dry hopped sours.

Amber, slightly dull. Moderate tartness, a bit woody, lots of bugs. This would be a good gueuze base, but as a standalone, hmmm, it’s okay. Definitely wants to be blended.

Opaque, bright hop, lively. Greyish pear juice colour. Decent beer, for a hazy DIPA.

Pale malt, some vaguely citrusy hop, moderate bitterness, and a hint of pear. Quasi hazy, really.
