Tap at the Nalevarna, thanks Matija K.! Murky dark chestnut brown body, greyish tan-brown head. Caramel and chocolate aroma, quite classy and elegant. The taste, however, doesn't follow suit, quite carbonated, more than well carbonated, it carries notes of dark caramel, molasses, light light roast, a soapy touch here and there and light bitter herbal undertones. Nice, but not at the same level as the fantastic 12° in this iteration.

Tap at Lajka. Hazy golden body, white head. Herbal-flowery hoppiness and bready maltiness in the aroma, classic! Oh yeah, a classic rustic mostly herbal, slightly bready 12°, slightly too flat and limp in the finish to thrill and push it into world class. Nice medium herbal bitter finish. Actually, reminds a lot of a slightly more rustic and flat Pilsner Urquell profile-wise. 7/3/7/3/14 Tap at Hostimická (Pivovarská) Nalevarna. So, at the source. The aroma was slightly sharper, almost down a notch, but with more lively carbonation this rustic, herbal, bready yet lean pilsner fully shines, certainly one of the better ones I've ever had!

Seriously solid Czech pils. Big bad ass saaz dryness. A hint of mercury here. Slightly hazy golden pour with high fluffy head and lacing. Dry snappy finish. Tight. Tap at Churchkey.

Rerate. From tap at Pivovarská Nalevarna v Soukenické / Hostomická Nalev, Prague, with OGJ and Marko 04.01.20. Transucent golden. White head and lacing. Very fine aroma and taste of meadows, pilsner malt and wort. Good bitterness, meadows and citrus peels are lingering on. From tap at BeerGeek Bar, Prague, 02.10.18. Hazy golden. Persistent bright white head. Unfresh aroma and taste of overripe tropical fruits, rotten vegetables, unshowered stable boys, out-of-date toffee, sweet marmalade and rotting cereals. Yak! I was unable to convey my disdain to the bar staff, and there are unfortunately no flower pots in sight. I’ll have to leave it at somebody else’s table for disposal. Update: Barman came back and took notice of my disdainful expression over the glass in front of me, took it away to drain it into the sewage where it belongs and offered me another one. Perhaps the lines are poor for this one at beergeek in prague. It is quite astringent and off bitter
