330ml bottle BBE 02-09-21. Brownish orange muddy colour, small white head, decent retention; looks good Aroma of caramel malts at the fore, followed by pine, orange, grapefruit; nice, very much a malt led IPA Moderate to full body and soft carbonation; works well here with the malt level. Taste is caramel malts, pine, orange, nice bitterness throughout. Tastes lovely at first but by the end it does feel like it lacks a few extra flavour notes to add some complexity, although it is still nice. Overall very enjoyable.

330ml bottle via Beer 52 monthly box. Pours hazed orange with an off white head. Aroma: Dank & malty, orange & pine. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, malt heavy, caramel, orange, touch of grapefruit, pine resin. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very old school, it's got vibes of a WCIPA from the 2013/14 era

33cl bottle, via Beer52; BB 2nd Sep 2021. Drank at home on 10th Oct 2020. Dirty dull orange body, white foaming head. Piney hop nose with a bready malt ester or two, orange like aroma too. Taste is bitter citrus fruits, piney hops and a malty balance. Interesting.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before August 2021. Hazy, dark reddish brown with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly smoky, gently herbal-spicy and moderately fruity taste of juniper, smoked ham, molasses, caramel and some raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly smoky, quite herbal-spicy and a bit fruity taste of caramel, molasses, quite some juniper, smoked ham and a touch of raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite herbal-spicy, gently smoky finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, quite complex, especially considering the low abv. Smoke and juniper match really well in here, everything is nicely balanced. Really looking forward to taste the other two 'Knaust' beers.

Hefiger, mild bananiger Beginn. Kräutrig, angenehme milde Rauchigkeit, dazu passend leicht süß. Kardamom ist leicht erkennbar, ansteigende Herbe, hohe Süffigkeit. Langer, weich rauchiger Abgang. Gut! 9/12/11/11/11/11
