(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Sweet grainy malty aroma with notes of biscuits and butter. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Biscuity malty and slightly chalky taste with light traces of butterscotch; medium-dry sweet-bitter malty finish with a touch of bitter hops and alcohol. Likeable Festbier. 21.XI.10

Bottle looks good, beer in the glass also. Dark, nice head. Starts malty and dry, modest sourish. Finish a bit more metallically, a bit unbalanced. Drinkable, but not my favourite!

Rerate from bottle. 6 3 7 3 13 Hazy golden, offwhite lace Nettle, herbal nose. Medium light hayish malt, ok grassy nose. Medium light body. No flaws, not that exiting either. Old rating: 7 4 7 4 14 Bottle. Golden, low carbonation, fluffy lacing white head. Sweet malty aroma, honeyish with fine hop aromatics. Smooth mouthfeel, chewy, good malt base, crisp prickly hops, pear notes, fine aromatic hops round the picture off. Nice and moreish. Bottle was at the end of its lifetime, really have to go to the brewey to get it fresh.

Bottle. Chestnut, fine carbonation, creamy off-white head. Nice toasted bready aroma, hop nuances. Chewy mouthfeel, good body, present but not cloying sweetness. Light nutty and roasted notes, fitting bitter and aromatic hop counterpoint. Quite drinkable and moreish.

Bottle, 5.3%. Almost clear golden colour. Frothy white head. The flavour starts off very malty. Turns a bit peppery. Good alcohol mouthfeel. Dusty finish. The aftertaste is slightly rubbery, but nothing to worry about.

Bottle, 5.2% bought at the brewery. Mild banana aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Sparkling. Big stable off-white head. The flavour starts off with a distinct banana note, fat but not overripe. Quite sweet, but all in all good for the style.
