500 ml bottle. Dark brown with a beige colored fluffy head. Roasted malt, caramel, roasted nuts, dark bread, roasted breadcrumbs, citrus, some marzipan, cocoa. Mild dry bitterness, roasty malty sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry roasty malty bitter finish. A good Dunkel!

Optisch tiefdunkles Braun, feiner Schaum. In der Nase schön röstig, ebenso im Trunk, Schokolade, Espresso, bittersüß, schöner Abklang, astrein.

50cl Fles van Bierothek Bamber. Goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Grassig, vanille, bisongras, moutig, goed bitter, iets herbaal. Lichte body. Prima Pils, heeft weinig met Keller te maken.

Bottle from HopDog, courtesy of Omnipollo's Elmer (tusen tack!), who was coaxed by SinH4 to get a round of these for us... only to run into a less than optimal batch I guess. :D But hey, a tick is a tick, and we needed something for the road. Imbibed mostly on the train to Garching. Dark golden body, off-white head. Grainy, quite sweet aroma, malty and minerally. Sweet grainy taste, some light fruity touches and... yeah, that's pretty much it, maybe caramel, not much hops. Just okay, but, um, love the label!

500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange with a relatively small head. Estery notes, banana and clove, wheat and yeast, dark honey, dry zesty notes, vanilla. Yeasty fruity sweetness, light zesty dryness. Medium bodied, oily texture, low carbonated, mild dry yeasty fruity sweet finish. An alright Weizen, not the quality you would expect from this brewery, but well, it’s a Franconian Weizen…

Brown with a creamy, off-white head of moderate duration. Aroma promises caramel, ashes, hazelnuts. Taste is moderate bitter with a roasted overtone. Caramel underneath with the finish trending bittersweet. Medium bodied, mildly watery texture, very mild carbonation. The mild carbonation and an insufficient chewiness give it a flaccid feel at the finish. Otherwise, a very nice Dunkles.

Bottled 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Brownish coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light fruity and nutty with grainy touch in the finish.
