Draft. A- Boozy, caramel. A- Copper color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Dark fruit, boozy, malty, molasses, caramel. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, boozy finish. O- A booze bomb for sure. White Elm kills it with stouts. Barelywines seem to be a style they are still perfect, but certainly haven't struggled with by any means. A bit one dimensional and hot. I think time would help .

Draft. A- Chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Chocolate, vanilla, cinnamon, boozy. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Jesus, White Elm continually does good things with stout year after year. Champ is one of my favorites so of course putting it in a barrel is going to be awesome. No exception here. Mostly chocolate on the nose but that's okay because the palate is a whirlwind of all the expected flavors minus the chilies. I don't quite know if it's the peppers or booze that gives it the heat but it's pretty mild. Complex and delicious brew.

Draft. A- Marshmallow. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Marshmallow, mild chocolate, boozy. P-Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The regular Fluff has a big following and it is tasty, don't get me wrong. Somehow though, aging this in bourbon barrels has really brought out the marshmallow all the more and gives is a nice slightly sweet vanilla flavor. Outstanding stuff for sure.

Can from the brewery. Aroma has soft vanilla, ice cream nuance, mild nuts. The impressive character about this it is not overly sweet. The vanilla ice cream is balanced by light oak bourbon. Pretty impressive stout. As expected from White Elm.

Can from the brewery. Real great of aroma of Knob Creek, burnt malt, chocolate. Flavor is just as decadent as the aroma. Knob Creek is very obvious in the mouth. Full mouthfeel, slick texture, and a mild warming after the sip.

12oz Can from AFH! Thanks man for picking this up. Pours an oily black. no head. The aroma is filling the room. the knob creek vanilla, coconut, almonds. this aroma is fantastic. wow. good sweetness. Lots of BCS sort of qualities with a lot more wood. chocolatey flavor , a little bit of smoke. some marshmallow. cocoa powder finish. This is lovely. More KBS than BCS due to the smokey wood profile. Tis is awesome.

Draft. A- Cocoa nibs, vanilla. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Vanilla, chocolate, mild coconut. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Yet another great stout from Kolby. Not surprised with the quality here. Loads and loads of vanilla on the nose and taste but as strong and perhaps overpowering as it is, it's completely natural tasting and the cocoa and coconut still manage to get a say in things. Not too sweet either. Tasted similar to what you might get from a Prairie stout. No doubt this would go excellent in a Bourbon or Rum barrel...or hell, maybe both! Quality stuff.

Aroma is subtle coconut, and cocoa. The adjuncts in the flavor are really balanced. It shows a little bit of bitter chocolate to provide balance of the vanilla, coconut, and coca nibs. Bold and decadent!

Aroma is bold lemon, light graham cracker, and vanilla. Flavor is a direct reflection. It truly does taste like a lemon meringue pie! Not overly sweet either. Although I hate the style, this tastes real good.
