Description
Pure Project is a small batch, ingredient-centric craft brewery with a mission to build community and a reverence for beer as an agricultural product by staying true to our ethos of quality ingredients, sustainability, and attention to detail.
To us, beer is art.
We believe every beer should tell a story; just like a world class meal, a perfect cup of coffee or a timeless wine, and we aim to bring that same level of passion, creativity and artistry to the ever evolving craft beer community.
We look forward to sharing our art with that movement by providing an experiential brand to give context to the beer in your glass.

Part of a three hazy IPA flight on 18th April 2026 at the OC Local Taproom. All three looked the same, only their white heads being slightly different in coverings and size of their bubbles. Opaque golden orange, wispy white head. Dank citrus and boozy one, interesting comparing the three.

On my third flight of three beers, 18th April 2026, OC Local Taproom. Lovely mahogany brown body, off white crust on top. Malty, earthy and nutty, liked it.

Teku showing pale gold with a finger of clean white foam.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of papaya and lychee.
The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Lychee forward with moderate notes of papaya and a mild bitterness on the finish.

Bottle (Batch #1 - 8/25) shared by Steve. Opaque, inky black, nice viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is strong, mellow bourbon, coconut, dark chocolate, vague nut. Taste reflects aroma with excellent balance. Smooth, thick, silky texture, full bodied, alcohol completely hidden, finish as taste. Not the most complex beer but the bourbon is so mellow and turns this into such an enjoyable slow sipper. Wonderful.

8oz pour at the Rocket Inn inside Whole Foods, Laguna Niguel on 1st April 2026. Only ordered this because I like Rock Hopper penguins, we became friends many years ago in the Falkland Islands and keep in touch now and again. Anyway this is a dirty/murky brew, the colour a kind of dish water grey, scummy head. Citrus fruits (unwashed) and old grapes came to mind as I drank this, my least favourite of the 5 half pours I had.

24th March 2026. On the rooftop bar Cococabana, in Oceanside, poured into plastic vase. Hazed dirty gold body, white crust. Citrus lead to the aroma and taste, refreshing in the afternoon sunshine, nice view too!

Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of pine and lime citrus. Med body. Malt is discernible, but it's dry. More than balancing bitterness. WC! Flavor of pine, lime and some green melon. Very nice flavor.

US Pint, on tap at the Beach Hut deli in Mission Viejo on 20th March 2026. Looked like grapefruit juice, cloudy grey, murky yellow; on top a decent white crust that stayed around for a while. Citrus fruit aroma and taste, leaning towards a sweetness but still having a good bitter bite, interesting and enjoyable.

500 mL bottle. Pours black, with a small, dark brown head, and some unappetizing floaters. Caramel, cappuccino, toasted coconut, and vanilla. Sweet and syrupy, with a mellow, roasty bitterness. Heavy, syrupy, and a bit hot. Decadent and delicious.
