Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a glowing straw with a finger of foam that lingers. Lemon forward nose with orange zest and white grapefruit notes, some light passion fruit as it warms. Clean and crisp on the palate, with more citrus and tropical fruit. Some biscuity malt as well, but the hops are up front. Finish has some medium bitterness. Very nice.

Can thanks to Dan. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is tropical fruit and pine. Medium body, juicy, pineapple, melon, grapefruit, grass, bitter finish, very good.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown with copper glints and a tan head. Aroma somewhat suggests Mexican hot chocolate. Includes cinnamon and vanilla. And dark malt. Med ++ body, maybe full. Flavor is chocolate, chocolate, cinnamon, dark malt, vanilla, chocolate. Not at all dry. Maybe a hint of heat. Malt’s a tad bitter. Spices work well with the chocolate. Really pleasing.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, dark malt and alcohol. Med ++ body. Flavor is very toffee/treacle, quickly followed by lots of chocolate. Heat does not seem to be a problem. Not at all dry, and the chocolate and hop aren’t enough to squelch the malt, but this is an Impy Stout, so not an issue. Really very tasty. Bet it would be a treat with chocolate cake with chocolate icing and cherry filling.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is tropical with notes of pineapple and coconut. It is to die for. Med + body. Flavor is fruit juicy with coconut - the juicy is mostly tropical, and there’s something very like a ripe pineapple. No acidity. Not heading for dry (coconut issue there) but very hoppy and pleasingly bitter. Exquisite.
