Description
We’re a small mead project based in Göteborg, Sweden. Highly inspired by our favourite meaderies from (mainly) the US we currently produce very small batches of craft mead as an independent brand under the wings of our friends at O/O Brewing. Home mead makers since September 2016 we moved our mead making equipment to the O/O brewery in September 2018 and went commercial. Since then we’ve continued experimenting and learning more about mead making trying to make the kind of meads we ourselves like to drink.

Poured from bottle @ MBCC 2023 blue session (finally adding my notes). Clear slightly yellow rose gold. Gentle apple and rosemary-like honey.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Red purple colour, bubbly rim and aroma of honey, cherry, berries, solvent, wood, bourbon. Taste is sweet, mellow, honey, cherry & berry, red wine, bourbon, vanilla, some warming booze. Smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, low soft carbonation, sweet drying boozy finish. Mellow smooth and very sippable.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Amber brown colour, thin bubbly rim and aroma of honey, fruity, berry, wood, vanilla, bourbon. Taste is sweet, raspberry jam, honey, vanilla, bourbon, with alittle spice & tartness. Syrupy, full bodied, low carbonation, sweet boozy finish. Very sippable.

30/11/2024. Bottle shared at Ulfborg tasting. Pours clear deep red brown with a few small bubbles. Aroma is berries, honey, flowers, black cherry, touch of herb, wood, bourbon, vanilla. Quite sweet with light bitterness and a tangy tart edge. Full bodied, smooth and oily, no carbonation. Lovely complex sipper.

Bottle @Ulfborg. Very dark red, oily. Honey and vanilla aroma. Sweet honey flavour, dark berries, not much bourbon or barrel. Some cherries later on.
