Bottle @MBCC2019, Blue Session. Clear dark amber, no head. Aroma has honey, red apples, berries, light mint. Sweet flavour, dark berries, honey, mint. Thank you for sharing _angst_!

Bottle, early batch, many thanks _angst_! Deep ruby to purple color. Aroma is strong blueberries, vanilla, good honey in the back. Taste is very heavy on the berries, a good amount of vanilla, not too cloying, despite all the stuff going on there - Oily mouthfeel with enough tannins to be interesting, flat. I love the tannins on this!

[ As The Attic Meadery Red Cat Mead - Double Oak, Double Vanilla ].
ABV: 15.0%. Clear medium red amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, dark honey, sweet honey - honey vanilla, light sherry - oak, light spicy honey ala sherry and cherries, also some vanilla - bourbon alike in the back. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, honey, warm honey, spicy honey ala sherry - cherries, sweet honey with a vanilla touch, light sherry - oak and as in aroma some vanilla - bourbon alike in the back. Body is medium, texture is sticky and watery - syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20190511]
