Hazy amber color. Soft beer, sweetish, with light fruity touch, no blueberries, quite bready.
Pleasant.

Dark color, nice beige creamy head. Solid stout, some dark bread, and the herbal touch is moderate, nice result.

Cloudy blond color with large head. It seems to use a less interesting batch of IPA, the flower doesn’t add much, the bitterness in the end takes a slight vegetable turn.

Moderate but clear ginger aroma and flavor; the hot kick in the final is nice, but in general I don’t think that beer and finger is a match.
Overall, a nice beer anyway.

Dark brown color, almost black. Lean mouthfeel, yet the chocolate comes through very rich; it has a light fruity touch, nice alcohol warmth. And a ticklish feeling.
Excellent sipper.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Dark color, brown with mahogany shades, with creamy head. Although it has some acetone notes, still it’s a very solid beer, with a malt backbone, and a woody, almost astringent touch; strong alcohol perception; there is also some dark caramel, dark fruits.
Interesting concoction. Deserves a good spot among American sour beers.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma brings out booze, dark sour fruits, and a touch of vinegar. Flavour is bold and complex, with tart dark fruits, light vinegar, and warming alcohol. Very boozy, but not undrinkable in any way -- rather quite dangerous. Actually quite a bit more complex than the regular Flanders Red. Great stuff.

On tap. Pours a hazy orange/ brown with almost no head. Dusty floral aromas. Meaty floral/herbal flavors with a hint of dried fruit. That’s elderflower?

On tap at Storm, pours a hazy dark golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of hibiscus - not much hops left on the nose. Flavour blends the hibiscus well with the piney hops bringing out a nice earthy floral spiciness. Good stuff.

Draft - A few years ago when I met James I convinced him to pour me a few ounces of this now long gone beer. Lots of balsamic, cherry and acidic notes. Flavors were pretty much vinegar. The smell was awesome, the actual fruit was gone and unfortunately so was the taste. But great of him to share at the time.
