Cask at Banbury Beer Festival Fri 23rd March. Pours amber in colour with great clarity, fruit and hops were present in the aroma stakes. This was a very good beer that got better as it warmed up, once again just a bit on the cold side. Plenty of hops hit you along with ever present knowing nod of the alcohol reminding you that you are indeed drinking a bit of a beast, touch chewy and fruity, but a great beer nonetheless that would probably have been marked higher if it had have been a bit warmer.

Hook Norton Beer Festival 22-07-06. Amber coloured, maybe some hops in the aroma, but standing so close to the pig roast it was tricky to tell. having just chatted to the head brewer for the last 10 mins I felt obliged to give this beer a whirl and I was pleased I did, a jolly pleasant juicy, fruity and malty beer that whilst nothing out of the ordinary would make a good session beer.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Royal Oak Beer Festival, Gretton, Glos Sat March 6th. Extremely flavoursome Porter which is very dark brown and pours with just a smigdgen of a head plenty of malty, fruity sticky tastes coming through from what is quite a full bodied and impressive porter.
