Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Cork & Cask online. Pours black-purple with a big, frothy purple-grey head. Light to medium sweet with mellow roast, some dark fruit notes, toasted whole grains, a little chocolate, slight earthy bitterness. Light bodied with active carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, a little earth, rubber, ash, berries, cocoa. Interesting beer, not bad.

Can from Aldi. It pours clear golden - bet with a medium, frothy white head. The aroma is tangy citrus upfront, grapefruit jelly, sappy, resinous, pine, grass and slightly perfumed accents. The taste is crisp, dry, clean, touch of mellow bitterness, sappy, resinous, pine, grassy vibes, peppery spice, pithy, zesty, grapefruit rind and some soapy waxy action with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Lightish body and average carbonation. Decent enough, lacks wow but is pretty drinkable.
