Cask at Bottle Bank, Holmes Chapel (not In RB yet – I’ll add it in a minute) Pours a dense black with a small beige head. Nose is basically chocolate with some malty hints. In the mouth it has an oily texture, featuring chocolate and liquorice. But also a little spicyness – maybe pear drops ? Finish is dry and bitter with some fruitiness coming through right at the end. A good solid stout.

Can split at L6, picked up online, 16/01/20. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is tangy citric zest, light wood must, vanilla, peach yoghurt, lemon rind. Taste comprises peach yoghurt, apricot, grass, light base funk, balsa wood, tarte citric zip, hay bale. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering kiss. Ok easy drinking sour … does well enough for the minimal ABV.

Keg, shared with Holmen2 and Finn at Port Street Beer House. Murky grey-golden body, lacing rings down the glass from a filmy layer. Moderate smell of ripe citrus. Mid-sweet citrus flavours joined by a mango bite. Warming, rather sweet fruity end sustained by noticeable alcohol. Satisfying. (Manchester 25.01.2020).

Cask, third at Manchester Beer and Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Shared with Finn. Cloudy golden body, filmy white head, dotted spots on the glass. Aroma of citrus and pineapple. Similar taste of pineapple, lemon, and grapefruit. Mid-dry fruity end. Refreshing and tasty. (Third day at the festival, 24.01.2020).

Can shared at the Columbus tasting 16/01/2020. Many thanks A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, wheat, grape, spicy tangerine, orange, lilt, orange rind, lilt. Flavour is composed of spicy , lilt, pineapple, tilt, wheat, grapefruit. Palate is semi sweet, highish carbonation. Good.

Keg @ Gas Lamp, Manchester. Clear pale amber with citrus evident, is sticky, and over carbonated as there's too much fizz in the palate.
