Cask at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Black pour with a beige head. Nose of smoke, dark chocolate, raisin, smidgen of coffee. Flavours of chocolate raisin, caramel, milky coffee, smoke. Nice easy drinking stout.

[ As Pomona Island Stout ].
ABV: 4.5%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, moderate roasted, light oat. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, light wood and oat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, light zesty, light spicy hops - ginger notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity hops, citrus, zesty, hops bitter. Cask Southampton Arms 12th October 2018. Cleanish gold with thin, off-white foam and scant lacing. Fine citrus aroma with mildly floral and spicy notes. Crisply citric in-mouth with juicy berries and a fruity finish. Light body and mouthfeel. A thirst quencher!
