Description
Founded in Summer 2018, Overtone Brewing Co. are progressively making a difference in the Scottish Craft beer scene and are being recognised globally, now exporting to 12 markets around the world.

Our adventure started with Bowei Wang, who's passion and hobby of home brewing led to the determination of owning his own brewery. He knows the influence great craft beer has when shared with friends, and that's exactly what we want Overtone to be.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - a bit like cranberry juice. Deep red with a pink edge. Pinky white head. Nose - blackberry very evident. Like recently picked and a bit bruised. Taste - raspberry and blackberry this time. Blackberry still the main player. Light sour edge but not so obvious other than from the fruit. Palate - light bodied and tangy through middle and finish. Overall - good.

Interesting! Black stout, aroma is light and malty. Taste is some toasty malt, a bit of dry, grassy hop. The balance of it is really good. Not a lot else to it but not in a bad way, it's nicely done.

Can from Cork & Cask. Black body with a thick beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of blueberries, earth and charcoal. Flavour of smoked ham, roasted malts and dark chocolate. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Despite the lactose addition, I found this to be quite savoury. I liked it.
