tap at brew pub. orange, cloudy color, small white head. lots of pine note, light fruity, of grapefruit. medium body, pines again, fruity, grapefruit, astringent, good bitter finish. good, but I prefer less grass & pines and more fruits in my IPA though. :P

bottle at the brew pub. was served a bit too cold for my taste. yellow, clear color. white head. smell of fruits, apple, citric, light sour smell. medium body, good carbonation, fruity taste, apples & pears, good acidity, bubbly, medium dry salty finish that does not last very long. very fresh taste. carbonation & salty/sourish taste complement each other quite well. quite like this one.

Sampled from bottle at the Brauwerk Wien brewpub.
Pale yellow, cloudy body, with a small, white head.
Yeasty, salty and slightly sour aroma, with dough and various citric notes.
Taste is a bit watery, sweet-sour, salty, with yeast, citrus and dough.
Light mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes salty, yeasty and citric.

Nice, refreshing and sessionable, but a bit too light for my taste. Propably a perfect summer beer, but it won’t be available until then I guess.

Draught at the Brauwerk Wien brewpub.
Orange/amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, red berries, some pine, lots of wet grass, bubblegum.
Taste follows this, with zesty and even more wet grass notes.
Medium to light, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, zesty, grassy and with slight bubblegum again.

Very nice! Really sessionable, but still very aromatic. The bitter zesty and grassy notes dominate slightly too much towards the finish for my liking, but overall really enjoyable.

Gave this a re-rate after I got a stale bottle from the brewery the first time:
bottle at home. light yellow color, cloudy, off white head. smells of lemon, citric, light rotten fruit, spices, cloves. light body, citric / lemony taste, spices, light fruity sweetness, acidic, light dry / bitter finish. better this time. compared the subtle fruity finish was totally lost on the first try.

bottle at home, bought by a friend at the brewery. light yellow, cloudy color, minimal head. smells yeasty, light banana, light tobacco, spices, grains, pepper. medium body, good carbonation, good mouthfeel, tastes grainy, banana, spices, peppery. kinda boring stale bitter finish.
after the other good reviews this one was a bit underwhelming. my friend bought it at the brewery on january 14th, I drank it nine days later. Expiration date says February 11th, 2015. Either they sold my friend an old bottle at the brewery, or this one isnt my kind of beer. Might give it another try when I see it on tap.

330 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna, bottled 15.12.14
Golden, moderate hazy body, with a big, creamy, off-white head, leaving rings of lacing.
Aroma of citrus, orange, grains, some grass, some honey.
Taste follows this and adds slight herbs.
Quite light mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes bitter, with lemon zest, grass, some herbs.

Nice, but feels quite one-dimensional. Citrus and grains mainly. Well balanced and clean though. Overall not on par with the better beers from this brewery in my opinion.

Bottle from Beer store Vienna. Unclear orange golden color with thick white head. Earthy, citrus hoppy aroma with malty background. Solid malty base followed by nice citrus hoppy bitterness. Medium long citrus hoppy finish. enjoyable beer.

Tap at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Labeled "Barley Wine with Amarillo". Aroma strong grassy, citrusy, zesty, orange. Strong hoppiness. Lightly hazy deep amber colour. Taste is very balanced. Hop forward, but decently so, citrusy, resiny and heavy malty background is also noticeable. Very good.
