at Craft Beer Fest Vienna. redish, hazy color. off-white head. subtle fruit notes on the nose, very light smell (maybe served too cold). full bodied, fruity, fizzy taste. apparent alcohol, subtle malty sweetness. good.

Update: First rating from Craft Beer Fest Vienna. 2nd rating bottle at home. Here goes: light amber cloudy color, big pinkish head. big ping aroma, some grapefruit, very nice fruity smell, passion fruit, mango. light body, very bubbly, notes of hemp, citric, some fruits, bitter very bright finish. Almost makes my mouth ache, its so dry, but still enjoyed it a lot better 2nd time around.

At Craft Beer Fest Vienna. creamy head. hazy, color like blood oranges. smells of red berries, raspberry and subtle strawberry. subtle yeast note. light bubbly body. strong but good taste of raspberries. none sweet with apparent acidity. this one should work well on a hot summer day.

Bottle.
Dark brown body, with a big, creamy, tan head.
Aroma of roast, nuts, chocolate, bread, some dried fruits.
Tastes of chocolate, nuts, coffee, bread, dark berries, dried fruits, slight metallic notes.
Mouthfeel is pretty light, oily, with a medium carbonation and it finishes moderate, roasty, with chocolate.

Not bad. Easy to drink and with some nice chocolate aromas, but overall too average for my liking. Although it is an ale, it feels a bit like a less sweeter version of Dunkel lagers you often find in Austria.

Na egy gyönyörű gyöngyszem a forgatagban, csillog mint a homok a sivatagban, vagy az oázis? Már nem is tudom...

Draught at Wiener Bierfest 14.09.14 and bottle at home 21.02.15.
Amber, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head.
Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, some more tropical fruits, grass, biscuit.
Taste follows this, with some more pine notes.
Mouhfeel is medium, slick, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, with lemon zest, pine, grass and subtle fruits.

Really a fresh, clean and crisp Session IPA! I was a bit sceptical, because their mother brewery isnt’t famous for aromatic, accomplished brews. But this is just how I imagine a tasty beer of this style. Actually one of the best Session IPAs I’ve had!
