Bottle: Hazy, reddish-amber coloured, stable and creamy off-white head, distinctive herbal hops in the bitter-sweet toasty-fruity nose; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, creamy MF; lingering herbal-bitter and toasty-caramelly finish. Pretty good, pretty well balanced...

0.33 l bottle from 'Sonnenschein', best before March 2018. Clear, deep red with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit fruity aroma of caramel, red fruits and some nuts. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, malty and moderately fruity-grassy taste of caramel, nuts, some red fruits and a touch of straw, followed by a short, dry-bitter and slightly grassy finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!

33cl bottle from the brewery. Malty smooth fresh nose. The beer starts malty and mild, smooth with red malty there. Nice round body, hints of grain, smooth malty. The finish is round, not too sweetish with a nice smooth mild red malty aftertaste. Nice.

0.75 l bottle from 'Sonnenschein', bottled in September 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity-floral and moderately yeasty-spicy aroma of lemon peel, hay, coriander, some banana and traces of clove. Moderately sweet, a little sourish, spicy, moderately fruity and a bit yeasty taste of lemon peel, hay, dill, coriander, some banana and hints of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little tart, spicy and a little yeasty finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Refreshing, well-balanced Wit which has some similarities with a Saison, despite the typical spicy notes.

Fläschla (750ml): Pale golden, cloudy, bigger and pretty stable beaten-egg-white-like head; sourish fruity-lemony nose with some forgotten yeasty and hoppy spots; both a bit fizzly and quite soft; light to medium bodied, mild to moderate sourish-sweetish flavour; lingering citrussy and grainy finish with a late Saazy bitterness in the aftertaste. Besides the incredibly WITty pun "WIT-Bier aus WITten" a well crafted nice summer-drink...

Danke an Erzengel. Trocken hefiger Antrunk, mild fruchtig, wässriger Hintergrund. Etwas Zitrus, süffig, monoton, die Wässrigkeit nimmt zu. Keine Hopfigkeit, zum Ende süßlich. Okay. 8/7/8/7/8/7
