0,5 l bottle again from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Pale yellow golden in the glass, nearly two finger head. Low musty grassy smell. Metallic bitterness at the start, some citrus in the background. Increasing straw bitterness. Nothing more. High carbonated.Meh.

Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Cheers. The cloves are up front. Quite pungent. Underlying sweet fruit. Gold. Bubbly. Frothy translucent white head. Light sour. Herby edge. This element gains strength as I drink more. As per aroma there's softness provided by a hint of underlying sweetness. Light-medium bodied. Slick with an oily touch. Fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. It's fine but not overly interesting.

More bounty from Erzengel. Cheers. Grainy slightly sour yeasty aroma. Light HD. Bubbly. Frothy creamy white head. Light bitter. This bitterness then drops down suddenly and gains some light lemon sourness. Light bodied. Thin but slick. Soft carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough. Refreshing and inoffensive. But underpowered

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks nice! Beer in the glass dark brown, small head. Starts mild, malty, strong, light alcoholic. Some woody hints, also some caramel. Not too sweetish as other doppelbocks. Well balanced warming-malty finish. Nice!
