Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Cheers! Yeasty biscuit and cardboard aroma. Light gold. Creamy frothy head thins out after a while. Light-medium bitter with a biscuity edge, which gives way to sour edged sweetness into the finish. Gains spice and quinine... and latterly, citrus and marmalade and booze. Medium bodied. Slick. But verging on chewy. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. At first I was not overly impressed, albeit it didn't have the sweetness I dislike. However it then seemed to develop more character as the fruit and booze made their mark.

Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Cheers! Tangy citrus aroma with a clove edge before sweet banana comes through. Cloudy gold. Thick fluffy white head. Light sour. Citrus. Some low key spice - which increases as I continue to imbibe. Hints of sweetness. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. BB October so may have faded. Decent enough Hefe.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple, nice format. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts strong, malty, spicy, some herbal notes as well. Shy hoppy background. Finish well balanced, a bit boring malty. But quite drinkable for a bock!

Big chunky screwtop bottle (I like) from Garbriel/Erzengel. Yeasty floral lager aroma with a hint of spice. Light amber gold. Bubbly. Thick white shaving foam head. Initial light bitterness before a sweet edged sourness sweeps in. Medium bodied. Slick with soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Enjoyable not overly sweet lager.

Many thanks for this beer to Santa in red hat. Thanks to Erzengel.
