(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a very cloudy golden with an off-white head. Very perfumy, hubbabubba-ish nose. Good, solid body with a little yeast and a little citrus and a distinct alcohol in the finish. Excellent. 201107

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange and with a dense white head. Aroma is bubblegum and slight wheaty. Flavour starts quite sweet and with a nice fruity flavour. The classic bubblegum notes disappear in the sweetness, which works quite nice. Ends with a bit of bitterness.

(bottle, best-before: Oct.07) Slightly hazy, chestnut-brown colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet, roast-malty aroma with chocolate, caramel and liquorice. Sweet flavour with some burnt bitterness, medium to full bodied, smooth carbonation. Chewy roast-malty taste with dried fruits, light notes of caramel and chocolate/cacao; sweet and roast-bitter, slightly vinous-fruity finish with a warming alcoholic note. I had the opportunity to compare the fresh bottle with an older one (bb: July 06), which was more fruit-accented, more vinous, even a bit more complex, rounder and softer.

Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Pale yellow color, small creamy head, lace. Smells like dishwater with some ashy hops thrown in. Smooth carbonated mouthfeel. Grassy, papery hops - tastes like hop exract used here. One of those cheap German supermarket pilsners.
