bottle, traded with wastl from BTO. Clear deep golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, fruity nd malty with good spicy hops. Underneath the beer appears to be somehow salty. Otherwise really nice.

The bottle looks good. The beer in the glass also, quite dark, almost copper-coloured. Starts very strong and spicy. Woody and earthy notes, very interesting. Becomes better with every gulp. Really good!

Bottle, 7.1% at LCRBM08. Weak malty aroma, slightly bready. Clear brown colour. No head. Very nice vinous flavour, good breadiness. Caramelly and bready in great balance. Very smooth and nice.

Bottle @ LCRBM 08: Poured a reddish with white head. Aroma is sweet with malts and fruits. Taste seemed tabacco and malts, on the edge of being something more in my mind.

No head left over very red-brandy coloured beer. Cognac, sweet malts, some faraway bread & leaves. Sweetish, leafy, lots of malts, all very classical, but then I get worts... Very sticky MF, very slick. Seems not finished, not fully fermented-out? German brewers are supposed to know about lagering, aren’t they?

Bottled. A hazy deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of fruit - especially peaches, as well as notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and alcohol as well as light notes of metal, leading to a dry metallic finish.

Bottled. Nut brown, brief head. Lots of caramel up front. Sweet with medium-full body and lots of buttery toffeeish malt. Rounded and well structured, but caramel and butterscotch are very dominant.
