Oro schiuma media non molto persistente leggero affumicato legno miele maltata ben maltata dolciastra poco amara leggero etilico

On tap at the brewery Gasthof, 20 July 2012. Hazy gold, with a decent white head. Light cloves and banana aroma with some caramel sweetness. Flavour had more fruit and spice, with some yeasty malts and gentle fish. Ok.

On tap at the brewery Gasthof, 20 July 2012. Brilliant, hazy orange (reminded me of Thatcher’s Cheddar Valley) with a bog, off-white head. Some fruity sweetness, grainy malts, caramel and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

On tap at the brewery Gasthof, 20 July 2012. Hazy gold in appearance with a decent white head. Sweet, stone fruit aroma, with a touch of caramel. Flavour was similarly sweet and fruity, leading to a gently bitter finish. Good.

Wässrig herber Beginn mit künstlich wirkender Rauchnote. Dabei wird die Rauchigkeit im Mittelteil stärker, im Abgang aber sehr schnell auf ein Minimum zurückgeschraubt. Etwas muffig, im Abgang hefig. 9/8/10/8/10/8

On tap at Brauerei Nikl: Hazy, amber coloured, creamy off-white lacy head, fruity-caramelly nose ( maybe first signs of infection) with a slight metallic tinge; moderate sweet -bitter flavour, a bit fizzy; sweetish-caramelly and delicate hoppy finish. O.K., but rather mediocre by franconian standards…
