Drought. Cloudy rich yellow with largr creamy white head, slight doughy aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish taste with citrus peel flavor, abrupt finish. Very welll balanced hefeweizen!

500 ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium orange colour with an average, creamy, long lasting white head. Aroma is sweet with notes of banana, fruit and light yeast. Sweet flavour with banana and citrus leading to a dry wheaty finish. Medium body, creamy texture with soft carbonation. Disappointing.

Bottle. Medium brown in colour with a big, tan head. Sweet, caramel and yeasty grains, with some cloves and a gentle finish. Fine.

Bottle from Harvest Market. Pours a cloudy murky reddish brown with a tightly bubbled off white head that shows moderate retention. Aromas of banana and clove with hints of spice, light fruit, and earth. The flavor is fruity and spicy with clove and banana dominating. Light yeasty earthy flavors come in as well. Medium body with a spirited level of carbonation and a bubbly sweet mouthfeel. Nice dark Hefe, a bit bubbly for my tastes but they usually are.

On tap at Weinhaus Vogel, Koln, Germany, Friday 28th March 2014 Served in a large earthenware mug so tricky to know colour but peering down it looks darkish. Nice beer, malty and as described very much in the style of an English beer. Really tasty Alt bier, maybe I am liking it so much because it is do different. Btw a great bar! A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Bottle. Creamy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Oily palate.
