Amber, just a slight haze. Thick head. Nice lacing. Toasty, but lots of fruitiness, both hop and yeast but especially orchard fruit hops.

Dark brown, thick head. Soft and sweet. Just a light roast but more cocoa. Decent although a bit too sweet for my taste.

Golden, fairly big head. Nice hoppy character, sweet pale malts. Clean and balanced. Herbaceous. Solid stuff. Very quaffable.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Light amber colour, bright, clean. Biscuity malt and resinous hops, with moderate sweetness, not sticky, bold bitterness, and mild fruity esters. Old school, but very clean and well executed.

473mL can, pours a clear copper amber with a medium beige head. Nose is quite laid back for the style, with resinous and piney hops, and balanced with bready malt. Flavour is also on the subtler side for the style, but reveals nice woody, dank hops, resins, some pine, and bready malt. The malt provides a bold backbone. The hops become more pronounced in the dank, resinous department with each sip. This is quite old school / west coast in style, which I'm fond of. Not excellent, but it's well-made and surprisingly easy-drinking. Very good.

Black, fast fading tan head. Cold espresso nose. Bitter roast espresso palate, under carbonated as are most coffee stouts

Bright amber/gold, small white head. Nose of vague malt/fruit. Very light brief malt with medium bitterness. Poorly balanced

Draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy red colour. It smells like a gentle smoothie. Berry juice moderately acidic, it would definitively boost the berries if it were a bit sweeter. Pleasant.
