Ma Che draught, 5/2/24. Clear, lemon-blonde. Large, white head, well-retained. Drat. Lots of Diacetyl. Cracker, biscuit, metal, mineral. In the mouth the Diacetyl is strong initially, but falls off almost completely. It leaves bright, nicely bitter, herbal hops and a dense, malty, but well attenuated character in its wake. The Diacetyl isn't really problematic except in the nose.

Tap at Muted Horn. Banana, clove, vanilla nose. Cloudy dark amber, off white lace. Chewy banana bread, sparkling, dry, nonstick on the palate, light rose water, spicecake finish and retronasal.

Tap at Muted Horn. Cloudy deep golden. Spices, clove, then banana. Taste is verrry fluff, creamy, nice spiciness on the bottom, then light banana on top.

Tap at the brewery. Hazy brown wirh a large off white head. Aroma had smoke, roasted malt and light bacon. Over the palate came toasted malt, smoke, bacon and Schwarzwald ham. Less smoked than Schlenkerla but more than Spezial. Masterpiece.
