Bottle. Dark amber color. Malty and floral soft spicy notes in the aroma. Malty sweet, soft spicy flavor with pear. Has nothing to do with a saison, but nevertheless a decent beer.

Appearance: Orange-red, amber? Very clear. Some fizzy head. Aroma: Light malt, some dark fruit? Some caramel. Taste: Medium malt, light caramel sweetness. Too sweet. Bought: Die Bierothek (Stuttgart), 330 ml, €1.95 Info: 21/6-2019, BB: 6/2-2020

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy orange, white head. Aroma is estery and slight fruity. Light oxidised. Estery, sweet wheaty. Mild bitter, vague grassy. Toasted malt finish.

Optisch trüb, stabiler Schaum. In der Nase überraschend fruchtig, aber logisch bei dem Hopfen. Dennoch erwartet man bei einem Weihnachtsbier erstmal was anderes. Hier Aprikose, leicht säuerlich. Im Trunk dann aber in der Fruchtigkeit zurückgenommen. Man erkennt den hellen Bick dann doch - halt ne Ziege mit Fruchtkorb auf dem Kopf. Meckert trotzdem gut - erst fruchtig, dann Honig, leicht nussig, feines Ding. Schöne Drinkability.

Bottle. Surprisingly clear golden color with small white head that looks rather soapy. Aroma is dough, peppery yeast, earthy, cooked grains, bubblegum. Taste is earthy, cooked brokkoli, bubblegum. Oily mouthfeel with low to medium, fine-bubbled carbonation. Not great.

Smooth fresh and mild beginning. Easy to drink, not much sourness there. the body is grainy and not very funky. Dry grainy, malty with only hints of the typical farmhouse-funk. Very sad. Nice sessionable malty beer - but no Saison.

Klar bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, leicht hopfig, schwach fruchtig. Leichte Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure. Süffig, aber purer Durchschnitt.
