Bottle looks simple. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts mild, malty, modest yeasty, not too dry. Light hoppy background, modest sourish. Finish again milder, dominated by malty notes. Okay.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark, almost black, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, malty, roasty, not too much. Light earthy notes. Finish soft-malty, still mild, quite drinkable. Not bad!

Had this as Pfister Öko Landbier. The bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, quite malty, not very dry. Some grasy-spicy notes. Finish well balanced, still dominated by malty notes. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

500ml bottle. Clear copper colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Malty, minimally bready, doughy-yeasty and strawy aroma, a spicy touch of husk. Taste is minimally sweet malty, strawy, minimally dry, spicy husky overtones. Standard Kellerbier.

(draught at the brewpub & swing top bottle at home) Hazy, amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Mildly toasted malty aroma with hints of caramel, delicately fruity and hoppy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty, mildly bready and fruity taste with a lightly hoppy touch in the background; sweet malty, elegantly toasty and delicately hop bitter finish. A fine and quaffable half-dark Bock. 09. & 11.XI.12
